As we prepare for our Midwest Blizzard, Debbie and I have been busily prepping for our Hearts and Flowers Stamp Camp this coming weekend – February 4th and 5th. We thought we would share several of the cards we will be creating at this Stamp Camp. If possible, let me know if you will be attending Stamp Camp. I’m not sure what we will be eating for our Friday night or Saturday morning snack as Debbie and I have both joined Weight Watchers, but we will come up with something! Give me a call or drop me an E-mail if you have any questions. Friday February 4th – 4 PM – 9 PM and Saturday February 9 AM – ????? Remember my 2011 promise to you – cards will take no longer than 2 1/2 hours!
I absolutely love the Greeting Card Kids stamp set! I’ve entitled this card “Polka Dot Valentine. The Love Letter Designer Series Paper in Red Riding Hood, Basic Black and Very Vanilla was just the color combination I was looking for. The little girl was stamped with Jet Black StazOn and colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. We’ve included a Very Vanilla Top Note inside the card to allow for a message that is easy to red.
Does this card say HEARTS to you? Debbie created this card in Bravo Burgundy, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. She used the Heart to Heart punch and assorted embossed and patterned card stock to punch out the dozen eye-catching hearts. The Finial Press embossing folder adds depth and interest to the Crumb Cake background and a bit of Cherry Cobbler ribbon provides the finishing touch!
Do you recognize this stamp set? This is Easter Blossoms! I love the set so much that I simply couldn’t wait for the snow to melt so I converted it to “Valentine Silhouette.” I did this card in 2 color combinations – this is Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz and Whisper White. The flowering branch from the East Blossoms set is stamped softly behind the silhouette. The basket of Easter eggs has been “filled” with hearts punched from the new red Glimmer Paper. Tiny pearls were added to the center of the Vintage Wallpaper embossed Blushing Bride card stock. The bouquet of flowers has been changed to a bouquet of hearts. Check back tomorrow to see the other color combination.
