Rhinestone Rhapsody Stamp Camp

You may be wondering why a Stamp Camp would be entitled “Rhinestone Rhapsody!” The reason for the strange name is that every card will feature rhinestones aDress card 1and everyone will find a package of Stampin’ Up rhinestones in their card packet.  This is a sample of one of the dress cards Debbi created. She has done several totally different samples, and we will have more to feature tomorrow. Debbie’s card features a die cut red and white gingham bodice and denim skirt.  The belt is fashioned from denim ribbon.  Where are the rhinestones on this darling card?  Look closely at the bodice and you will see 3 small rhinestone “buttons” on the casual dress.  Not all dress sample cards are this casual as you will see on the card below

Dress card 2aThis wisteria and silver dress card was created for my Granddaughter Alexis on her 13th birthday.  I used silver glimmer paper, a pink satin ribbon belt, a purple rose with a rhinestone center, and a rhinestone necklace.  These dresses are so much fun to make as the die quickly cuts the dress of your choice on the paper of your choice.  The dress form is also a die and is quickly cut in Basic Black or Blush.  Adding the accessories is lots of fun.  We will have more samples tomorrow.  My camera’s battery was almost dead tonight, so I grabbed fast pictures and sent the battery to the recharger.

I hope you will be able to come to our Rhinestone Rhapsody Stamp Camp on Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th.  In addition to the dress card, we will see the beautiful Swallowtail Butterfly, a “Feel Goods” card and the colorful peacock image from the World Treasure stamp set.  The time is set for 4-9 PM on Friday and 9AM – 4 PM on Saturday.  However, as I am off from work this work, if these dates/times don’t work for you, please let me know and we will try to work within your availability.  The card kit – complete with the package of rhinestones – will also be available.  The cost for the Rhinestone Rhapsody Stamp Camp will be $12.00, but well worth every penny.  If you want to bring some of your special designer paper, and cut out extra dresses to take home with you, please feel free to do so.  This is such a great set.

Hope to see you on Friday or Saturday!  Blessings, Rosemary – 630-759-3089 or paperrose01@aol.com
