Imagine sitting with a friend sipping tea and having your friend tell you how wonderful you are!
What says a cup of tea better than a teapot? This Berry Burst teapot is layered on a Whisper White embossed card front. Debbie designed this card and chose to embellish the card front layer with beautiful Blushing Bride roses from the Petal Promenade DSP. The top edge of the DSP is die cut with one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies. The teapot features a die-cut flower colored with Stampin’ Blends and embellished with a coordinating center. This same flower is added to the corner of the card front and to the message layer. The sentiment is stamped in black, die cut, and framed in Berry Burst. Look further down to see this card with a different DSP.
And what goes with a teapot? Well, a teacup, of course. This card coordinates nicely with the teapot card and uses the same materials, but the card is done vertically instead of horizontally. The 3 teacups are balanced one on top of the other and feature the same die-cut flower seen on the teapot sample. These flowers are embellished with a single pearl. Wouldn’t this card be a great way to tell a friend how wonderful they are?
But maybe you are not a Blushing Bride rose person – maybe you like roses with more depth and variety. Debbie chose this DSP as an alternate to the one shown above. The Mossy Meadow of the roses matches the card perfectly. This is the same card as the first sample but uses a different Petal Promenade DSP pattern.
Our final Tea Together sample also features the alternate Petal Promenade DSP. I love the look of these old fashioned roses.
Which pattern Petal Promenade DSP will you choose? Which card – the teapot, the teacup or both? Lots of decisions for May Stamp Camp.
