Art Gallery was one of my favorite sets in the January – June Mini Catalog. In fact, it is featured on the cover of the catalog. I love the bright colors and the random flow of the Fine Art Floral DSP. Poppy Parade is one of the colors featured in the DSP and I chose that color for our card base. A strip of DSP is adhered to a slightly larger piece of Blackberry Bliss. The two-step-stamping flower is stamped first in Poppy Parade, and then in Rococo Rose that is first stamped off. I wanted a bit more light pink to show thru so I added some strokes of Light Rococo Stampin’ Blends. Merry Merlot provides nice contrast for the stamen. Mossy Meadow is the color for the stem and the Floral Gallery dies crisply cut out both pieces. A light Rococo Rose tinge is brushed on to surround the popped-up flower and leaf. Die-cut “happy” reflects the feeling of the card.
The Floral Gallery Dies include the cute “just want to say” shown on this message layer. I adhered them at a casual angle on this sample and also did a straight version. The stamp set includes several occasions that go with “just want to say”. I chose Happy Birthday for this sample and “I’m thinking of you” for the second sample. Other messages include Congratulations, You Are Lovely, Best Wishes, I Miss You, and more.
And there we have it – you’ve seen all the offerings for March Stamp which will be held at my home on March 4th from 10am – 4pm, March 5th from 10am – 4pm, and March 6th from 9am – 4pm. If you prefer a kit, please let me know as soon as possible as the kits take more time. As March is still limited to 4 crafters per day, please let me know your preferred day. And of course, we will be following Covid-19 guidelines with masks and cleaning supplies before passing them to another crafter. I’m excited to see you!
