Once again we are using the Seasons of Fun Stamp Set – this time for Thanksgiving! We have the young boy with his cat and dog frolicking in the leaves that I’m sure an adult had raked carefully into a pile! This art work is stamped and colored with Stampin’ Blends. The Scan n’Cut pre-cut the dogs for us allowing the dog to be popped up on dimensionals as he leaps into the leaves. The art work is adhered to an Early Espresso Scalloped Square and adhered with dimensionals onto the Beauty of the Earth DSP. Now, if you are the first person to notify my what specifically was used to embellish the message from the third Classic Cloche view (the flat view) PLUS your November Stamp Camp card order, you will win a Seasons of Fun Stamp Set. The Old Olive thankful sentiment does not show up well from the angle this picture was taken. Originally Early Espresso was used but we felt Old Olive showed up better. Other sentiments that can be die cut include AUTUMN, GRATEFUL, and BLESSINGS.
The message layer includes a Seasonal Sentiments message. Scattered leaves are stamped and colored on the message layer and envelope. It appears the Stampin’ Blends missed a leaf here!. A slim strip of DSP also embellishes the message layer.
Although this is the final card for November Stamp Camp, I do want you to see the Christmas Wreath that is being offered on November 18th and 20th. I would like to limit the class size to 4 crafters each day but that number is negotiable.
The 10” wreath is wrapped in Stampin’Up ribbon and has a gold tie for hanging. Construction is done with 1 1/4” “T-Pins” and Glue Dots. The bow will be premade and is gathered florist style with wire. The Scan n’Cut will precut the poinsettia petals and leaves in red and green foil card stock. The crafter will need to emboss the poinsettia petals and leaves. I prefer the appearance of the die-cut gold branches versus the ones cut by the Scan n’Cut which are very flat. Each crafter will receive the wreath, 10 yards of green ribbon, 10 yards of gold twine, all necessary T-pins, and the poinsettia, leaves, and branch foil card stock. The cost is $20. If you are interested in this project, please let me know, and of course, which day works better into your schedule. I would guesstimate 3-4 hours as there is only one set of dies for embossing the leaves and petals. Debbi and I have an idea in mind for 2022 – a snowflake wreath!
Hope to see you at November Stamp Camp! Rosemary – (C)630.965.1965 – (H)630.759.3089 – paperrose01@aol.com
