Fall is upon us! We can’t keep up with the leaves on our ramp. They fall faster than my sweet husband can sweep them up. But I love the crunch of leaves when walking down the street. It kind of sounds like walking on Rice Krispies!
Our fall Aspen Trees card features a technique titled “Color Blocking.” Color blocking is explained as a technique that involves pairing 2 or more colors together. In our November Stamp Camp card shown here, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry have been “blocked” together. The block of colors has been run thru the Big Shot with the Woodland Texture Embossing Folder which carries the wooded theme through to the background. A lone Early Espresso deer is peeking thru the trees. The simple sentiment, “For You” is stamped on an aspen leaf and embellished with a tiny Cajun Craze bow. Debbie designed this beautiful fall card and has tied all the bows! I’m so happy she is back.
The message layer for Aspen Trees features a single Crushed Curry aspen leaf. The Aspen Trees Dies provide 2 different aspen leaves. This card would be perfect for Thanksgiving or any fall occasion. There are lots of message stamps you can choose from. New ones are added to the library monthly.
In case you are wondering when November Stamp Camp is – Thursday, Friday, Saturday – November 3, 4 and 5 from 10am – 4pm. You can come anytime during those times. You can even come all 3 days! If you are not available to attend, we are happy to provide cards-to-go mailed to you or available for pick up. As always, all supplies and tools are provided. All you need to bring is yourself! Let’s move on to our November Christmas card – Silent Night!
