I had a difficult time narrowing DSP down to 3 to give you a small assortment. Normally, these are done here and everyone chooses their own DSP. I chose 3 and I hope one of them is just what you are looking for.
The first calendar is Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron and gold. The DSP is from Expressions in Ink and features gold throughout the design. I chose to pop up the 2022 so that next year, you can gently pry off the last 2 and replace it with a 3. Dimensionals are much more forgiving than glue. I have calendars that are 4 years old and I simply tear off the final month and adhere the new year on top, I adhered my calendar to the Mint Macaron layer with 6 rows of sticky strip. I adhered the layered calendar to the calendar front with 6 rows of sticky strip – I guarantee this calendar will NOT fall apart!!“
I think a simple message is nice to put on the back of the calendar. After all, someone will be looking at this work of art for at least a year. This year, I chose “All days are beautiful that begin with you.” Isn’t that a wonderful message to see every day. And because this is the year of the bird, a bird in the appropriate color comes with the Cards to Go.
If you have crafted these calendar before, you may prefer making yours from scratch. I think these are a thoughtful gift. I have a cousin and a girlfriend who rely on their calendars to sit on their kitchen table and remind them what day it is. A single calendar is available $0.60 – 5 for $2,75 – 10 for $5.50. These are available every summer from Tailored Expressions.com.

The second calendar I chose is Hydrangea Haven with Misty Moonlight, Highland Heather, and Gorgeous Grape. This calendar pops with color. The back side includes card stock with the message shown above and a color appropriate bird. Once again, I used at least 6 strips of sticky strip to adhere the calendar to the Highland Heather layer, and at least 6 strips to adhere the calendar layer to the card front. Your Card to Go includes the card stock cut to size and scored, the DSP, die cut numbers and the stamped back layer with color appropriate bird.
But what about the men in your life? Many men have a desk and a small calendar may be appreciated. This calendar is done in Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and CORK! Yes, I said CORK. This DSP is a thin layer of cork with a thin paper backing. Because of the lean DSP, an extra layer is added to insure sturdiness. Cajun Craze is adhered to the Early Espresso card and the thin cork layer is adhered to the Cajun Craze – the result is a very durable and sturdy card. I chose to keep this calendar stark and masculine. Embellishments would detract from the cork. Again, the back includes white card stock with the stamped message and a color appropriate bird.
If you prefer a calendar for the refrigerator or other metal surface, magnet strips can be attached to the calendar back. My refrigerator calendar is 4 years old and every year I adhere the new calendar over the old. This image shows the calendar backing. The magnet strips have a backing that when removed, allows the strip to stick to the card stock. There is no easel, but an extra layer is included as seen above with the cork calendar. This is done to insure the calendar is sturdy and durable. If you wish the magnet calendar, simply request that.
