SOFT SEEDLINGS

10.01.22 Soft Seedlings 2Soft Seedlings is a peaceful stamp set – simply a maple leaf and seedlings.  This fall card has a bookbinder fold.  The left panel DSP is a pattern from the Rustic Harvest DSP collection.  These DSP leaves are colored with sponge daubers – a fun technique.  You simply sponge a bit of color on the leaves without worrying about color landing on the black background.  The ink colors used here are Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Bumblebee, Cajun Craze, and Mossy Meadow.  A strip of Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and matching shoestring bow are adhered to the left side fold.

10.01.22 Soft Seedlings Msg coloredThe message layer features a thin strip of DSP and a stamped fall leaf like the leaf seen on the envelope.  The strip of DSP can be the colored leaf pattern seen here or can be a strip of the opposite side which features the pattern seen on the front layer of the card,  The Maple leaf and seedlings have been colored with a combination of Pumpkin Pie and Flirty Flamingo.  The Brother Scan’n Cut pre-cut all the leaves and seedings.  The sentiment which is part of the Soft Seedlings set has also been stamped and pre-cut with the Scan’n Cut.  I think you will enjoy coloring with the sponge daubers.

This is the final card for October Stamp Camp – October 6, 7, and 8 – Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4.  Please text or e-mail with your choice of cards and what day works best for you to attend.  Remember that Debbi is not available to assist me.  The earlier you can notify me of your choices, the easier it is for me to complete your kits.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

RUSTIC MUMS

10.01.22 Rustic Mum 1This is a 10-minute card!  Why?  Because the DSP does ALL THE WORK!  This Rustic Harvest DSP is the Bomb!  The actual card is Crushed Curry.  A 5 1/4 X 4 piece of DSP is adhered to the card front.  My new best friend – a Divinity Designs A2 Thin Pierced Frame – nicely die cuts a piece of 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 Merry Merlot.  The frame is adhered on the card front and voila – you have a beautiful fall card.  I have die-cut butterflies in white, Merry Merlot and Crushed Curry using the Hero Arts Butterfly Confetti Fancy Die.  5 butterflies with a couple rhinestones finish the card.

10.01.22 Rustic Mum MsgThe message layer features several butterflies matching the ones on the card front.  I have chosen to use 3 but you can use as many as you wish.

A different pattern of the Rustic Harvest DSP is also used in the next card and we will be using another pattern in November.  A single sheet of the DSP used here will give you 8 card fronts.  The pattern appears to be repeated every 8 inches.  And it certainly helps make a very colorful but simple card.

Our last card is also reminiscent of fall!

CHRISTMAS BARN

Christmas BarnI love this old fashioned scene.  It is reminiscent of driving down a country road and seeing a red barn proudly wearing a Christmas wreath.  The card itself is Evening Evergreen with a Real Red embossed front panel. I must admit the red in the picture is a bit brighter than actual Real Red.  The barn is pre-colored for you.  A small sliver of white glitter cs is adhered to the left portion of the roof.  The 2 darker trees are stamped and die-cut.  The Garden Green trees are simply die cut.  The silo and fence also have dies.  I am recommending a double layer on the fence to give it more body.  A self adhesive backing has been applied to the Crumb Cake cs to ease the fence making.  I have added 9 white glimmer snowflakes but you can add as many as you wish.  Wink of Stella adds a glittery snowy finish to the front yard and can be added to the trees and barn windows if desired.

10.01.22 Christmas Barn msgThe message layer matches the envelope – a stamped horse pulling winter-clad passengers.  This is such a fun card!

November Stamp Camp will be held on November 3, 4 and 5, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4.  December Stamp Camp will be December 1, 2, and 3.  I will have calendars available at December Stamp Camp if you wish to make them.  They make great Christmas Gifts.

We have seen Halloween and Christmas – how about a bit of fall?
