STAINED GLASS POINSETTIA

09.25.23 Poinsettia top viewA fellow crafter recently gave me a a beautiful card that looked like stained glass.  We are going to give this technique a try at October Stamp Camp.  Debbie subscribes to Creativefabrica.com which is a digital design company.  One of the digital designs she received was a stained glass poinsettia trio sized at 2 3/4” square, 3 3/4”square and 4 3/4” square.  She shared the file with me which is how the poinsettia card to the left evolved.  Amazon has multiple types of glossy photo paper and I chose the HP Premium Plus Glossy.  As Pacific Point cs went well with the poinsettia background, we cut a 10 X 5” card scored at 5”.

09.25.23 Poinsettia sideThe additional Pacific Point pieces cut were 4” square and 3” square.  Making the card is actually very simple.  The largest print is adhered to the 5” square card base.  The 3.75” square print is adhered to the 4” square cs and adhered with DIMENSIONALS to the 5” card base.  Likewise, the 2.75” square print is adhered to the 3” square cs and adhered with DIMENSIONALS to the 4” layer.  All that’s left is to stamp a message in Pacific Point on the 4.75” square message layer and adhere it inside the card.  The time consuming part is printing and cutting,

Although the Stained Glass Poinsettia card is easy to make, it is not inexpensive.  With the cost of all the paper, square envelope, printing ink and extra dimensionals, this card will be available for $4.50.  The other 3 cards remain priced at $3.50.

As October is my birthday month, I celebrate by giving a 20% discount to all my crafters.  This discount ends on October 31 and is eligible for any Stampin’ Up products except for paper pumpkin.

Please let me soon as soon as you can which cards you wish to make and which day you plan on coming to stamp camp.  The best way to contact me is by text at 630.965.1965.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any concerns or questions.
